It’s almost time for Halloween, and what’s the best game to play? What, that would be Halloween: Trick or Treat 2!
In this game, you help the two kids find the items that they will need for their annual Trick or Treat activities with their friends in the neighborhood. These include collecting special Halloween items, in addition to the things that you need to find in any Hidden Object game that you have played in the past.
If you run into trouble, you can just click on the Hint button on the right of the screen and you’ll be back on track! You can use the Hint button anytime, but you have to wait for it to recharge. Fortunately, it doesn’t take that long for the Hint button to be available again for you to use. In that span of time, you could’ve already found what you need to be looking out for in the game’s puzzles!
Aside from finding the items in the list, you will also need to find the Golden Pumpkins. These Pumpkins will give an additional bonus to your score, so be on the lookout for these. They should be quite easy to find, however, as they are quite distinguishable with their golden color. Each level has a specific number of Golden Pumpkins to find. You’ll know if you’ve found all of these Pumpkins in the level as the Pumpkin icon on the lower left side of the screen will light up!
In addition to the normal Hint button, you also have the Mega Hint. The Mega Hint, when pressed, will highlight all the items that are in the screen. This is a chance for you to finish the level quick. However, the Mega Hint only highlights items for a limited amount of time so you have to be very, very quick about it. Once you’ve pressed that button, your mouse pointer should be flying all over the screen clicking on as many items as you can manage.
You’ll also notice that some items are listed with a color. Items with red letters are hidden items, which you have to uncover. The game lets you know where hidden items are found by highlighting the area. You’ll have to click on those to enter a sub-area of the level, and look for those items there. Some items are also listed in Blue. For example, in Level 3, “Helmet on Boy” means you have to find a helmet, click on it, and place it on the head of a boy in the image.
Finishing a level will also unlock a mini-puzzle. These puzzles will also give you additional points, but you can skip these if you find them too difficult or if you simply want to focus on playing a Hidden Objects game.
If you would like a change of environment or pace when playing a Hidden Objects game, Halloween: Trick or Treat 2 should be ideal for you. Try it out for 60 minutes through the Big Fish Game Manager to find out what the game is all about.
