Tropical settings and bubble shooter gameplay come together into this exciting package called Woka Woka. The best part is: this game can be played without having to install special installers, or purchasing something from the game shop before starting.
All you have to do is to visit the game’s App Page, and click on Play Now! You could also choose to download and install the Facebook Arcade, which is in Beta Mode. However, it’s entirely optional.
This game’s mechanics should look very familiar to you. This means that you won’t have to spend too much time in learning the ropes. However, the developers were kind enough to introduce a short introduction in each level, when there’s a new goal to be met, so that you and the game could be on the same page.
Remember, this game goes so fast that you might lose each level if you have to figure out everything that you have to do in order to get through to the goals specified.
Alright, for starters, the basic goal is to get rid of all the bubbles that are rolling towards the mouth at the middle of the loop before they are devoured. To do this, you’ll have to shoot bubbles into the midst of those that bear the same color. Thus, if the turtle is carrying a blue bubble in its mouth, you’ll have to find a group of two or more blue bubbles to shoot into.
If you find that the color of the bubble in the turtle’s mouth does not match any of the groups near you, simply press the right mouse button and the turtle will cycle into another bubble. Take note of the dot at the back of the turtle - it indicates what other colored bubbles are available.
There are some boosters that you could encounter while playing Woka Woka. You have the Flower, which gives you additional 5000 points to your score if you hit it with one of your bubbles. There’s also the Hammer, which makes short work of any bubbles you select.
The bubbles themselves carry power-ups, and they are numerous. Eliminating a bubble with an arrow icon will allow you to shoot with accuracy for a few seconds. A bubble with a Stop sign will stop the rolling, while a bubble with a Snail sign will slow down the entire queue’s movement. You also have the Reverse power-up, which will roll back the whole queue.
There are also obstacles you could encounter as well. One is the stone, which you can eliminate by clearing up the bubbles right in front of it and give it a clear path to the mouth at the end of the loop. There’s also the iced bubble - you’ll have to shoot a similarly colored bubble beside it so the ice will thaw, and then you can eliminate it as long as it is part of the line composed of two or more similarly colored bubbles.
With a very familiar gameplay, and no in-app purchase required prior to playing the game, Woka Woka should definitely earn a place in your heart.
