Venture in the wild and untamed world of Dragomon hunting in this one-of-a-kind MMORPG, Dragomon Hunter. Defeat and collect as many Dragomons as you can as you explore the beautiful world the game has to offer. Participate in thrilling PvE and PvP battles with your Dragomon by your side, and set off to become the ultimate Dragomon hunter!
In this game, you’ll play as a brand new recruit to the prestigious guild of Dragomon hunters, the Order of the Falcon. After choosing a class (cleric, mage, mercenary and scout), you will then embark on an adventure to not only help your guild and the populace of the in-game world, but also to improve your skills as a Dragomon hunter. As you may have expected, one of these skills includes fighting other dragomons or players.
In fact, combat makes up the majority of the game, ranging from questing to PvE and PvP. This is actually a good thing because the combat system in Dragomon Hunter is truly amazing. The game features a decently-designed, semi-action-based combat system. So, when you’re battling a mob in the game, you can expect to do quite a lot of timely dodges, particularly when trying to avoid the very harmful abilities that these mobs may have. Due to its more fluid and active combat style, each battle you engage in will definitely be exciting. This, in turn, eliminates any of the usual “boredom” that you may experience in any other non-action-based MMORPGs.
You will also get an adorable companion, called a Hoppalong, to aid you in combat on your adventures. Hoppalongs are unique to this game as they each have their own classes, and skills. Like their human counterparts, these companions can be equipped with a selection of armors and weapons, and they can level up as well. They will prove to you that they are a valuable addition to your team pretty quickly as they are reliable and fierce fighters.
Not to mention, the game doesn’t have any auto-attack option. Due to this, you’ll need to select a skill in order to start attacking. On the other hand, skills themselves have their respective ranges of attack. This means that if you’re too far from the enemy, you can trigger the cooldown on your abilities without actually hitting anything. Thus, knowing when to (and not to) activate a skill in Dragomon Hunter is very important in gaining victory, especially during PvP.
Fighting another player in this game can be exhilarating as the game offers plenty of variety of PvP events. There is even one event where you and your opponents can ride your Dragomons as combat mounts into battle. In addition to PvP, there are PvE events as well such as Dragomon Hunts and various dungeons. You may also encounter randomly spawned “elite” Dragomons that you can defeat for a chance at getting the rare loot they drop. Let’s not forget that each Dragomon you defeat in the game will earn you a minute opportunity to obtain an awesome Dragomon mount from it. Player-collectors will definitely love this game, that’s for sure!
Similar to most MMORPGs, Dragomon Hunter also has plenty of other elements that make up an MMORPG, such as professions, questing, guilds, and trading. The game’s graphics and music are very nicely-designed as well. The visuals have a dreamy-like quality to it while the background soundtrack is rather inspirational and is well-suited for the ears of a promising Dragomon hunter-recruit.
All in all, Dragomon Hunter is a very entertaining MMORPG that perfectly combines the best aspects of monster-hunting games like Pokemon with an MMORPG. You’ll certainly be whipped up in the craze to collect all the Dragomons available in the game. So, don’t wait – check out Dragomon Hunter today!
